		<description>This article is an eye opener.  I enjoyed reading it.  A while back I saw a special on tv that focused on a number of adults.  These people were placed in a zoo for two weeks and fed only what the Gorillas were fed.  Fruits and veggies.  By the end of the two weeks they all had a considerable improvement in their health i.e. lower bp, lower cholesterol etc...  (the lower bp could be a result of no outside influences and pressures we encounter at any given moment)  I've also seen or read about the human intestinal track and the reason it's so long.  Being so, as to absorb as much of the fruit and vegetable nutrients as possible before elimination.  Which seems, to me, to be somewhat logical.  It was also suggested that the human intestinal track wasn't suited to process large amounts of animal protein (meat).  This type of protein causes back up and build up and causes intestinal complications.

IYO,  is it best to eat vegetables raw or cooked?  Maybe a little of both.  Additionally, IMO, humans, in general, are not getting healthy meat or vegetables.  The general public is eating over medicated, over process, unsafe meat.  Vegetables are covered in pesticides and genetically modified.  How can we be purchasing beets and winter squash in the middle of summer?   When I was a child my Mom and Dad wouldn't think twice about eating raw hamburger.  Just the thought of consuming raw hamburg now turns my stomach.  

The best diet is "everything in moderation" and "movement" of any kind.  Try to buy food from your local organic farmer, for meat and vegetables.  Do your best to stay away from processed foods.</description>
