Vikkie,
Rapadura is evaporated cane juice (unprocessed sugar). Sucanat or even brown sugar substitute nicely.
Gurdit,
Check out the link for Kerry Ann's website. You will find plenty of info there.
Thanks again KA - these are such great hints. I'm hoping to use them with my 5 year old (very, very picky).

When I was a kid it was: no veggies, no dessert. I was made to eat a LOT of different veggies. As an adult, they are my favourite part of the meal. Actually, I really liked them as a kid too, Mum and Dad ate them, we ate them... but Mum has always been a good cook. She would serve them as a picture on the plate, with carrot and broccoli trees, fruit funny faces, mashed potato mountains, and they were NEVER overcooked and always seasoned well. One of my best meals when I was a kid was 'picky lunch'. Mum would cut up lots of colourful veggies, cubes of cheese, dried and fresh fruit, pickles, olives, cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, with dips and crackers. We would all share from the one big plate with lots of little tastes, very fun. I can't remember a meal when there was no vegetables served. It was just routine.

Green smoothies are an easy, fun and super delicious way to get greens into your diet. I love them and have one pretty much everyday :)

For kids, I like to give them cool names like "Swamp Mud" or "Incredible Hulk Smoothie" to make it more fun :)
