I have been blessed by the knowledge of Aware Parenting as well. I used this with my third child, and saw wonderful, amazing results from it. We are very connected. I have had a very difficult time using this with my fourth child, my first daughter. She would be considered "fussy", and has had moments of crying for hours in the early months. It was so hard to know what to do. I hold her every time she cries (or my husband does). Yet, I have found myself doing almost anything to get her to stop crying sometimes, because she cries so much. I keep trying though, because I know instinctively that she has this large need to express whatever her deep hurt and upset is. I feel it is essential for her to live a full and productive life.
